Feeling the heat

L.A. was unbearably hot--even for me!--this weekend. I stepped outside and thought I would suffocate. While I was working at a movie premiere (outdoors, on Saturday afternoon, during the hottest time of day) I got a pretty fierce tan after spending three hours under the scorching sun. The only way to bear the heat was to go window shopping. My goal now is to buy a floppy, wide-brimmed hat in preparation for these coming summer months!

Too hot in LA means its just perfect up in SF. I loved the weather this weekend! And I love your vintage dress! I'm wondering if you hemmed it yourself or if you bought it that way. Being handy with a sewing machine would pretty much change my life...

That vintage dress looks great on you! Loved your top in the last post as well.. such delicate detailing! I wish it would start getting a bit warmer here... sigh.

I heard on the news that it's 100 degrees or some other insanity over there. WHOA. It's on and off here, but the warmest day we've had so far is 70 degrees. Usually it's in the 50s. I'm so eager for warm weather, but 100 degrees is crazy.

Cute dress! I love it. At first I thought it was a romper.

OMG!!! What a chic and lovely dress, it's solely you! The combination of the leggings, soles and dress is sooo feminine and pretty but there's this wonderful edge to the outfit that gives it this unique funky fun yet elegant flavor ! This is what I luv about your Signature Style and only you can create it !!! p.s. the colors in the dress are solely eye catching !!!

I Like Stuff-- unfortunately, I did NOT hem it myself! I wish I could, but I don't know how to use a sewing machine yet. But I'm planning on taking lessons soon!!
