A penny for your thoughts

Photobucket

Some of the most treasured items in my closet were eBay auction purchases (I had to put a stop to my eBay addiction last year), but my friend and fellow blogger Jamie recently introduced me to the whole new world of penny auction bidding. BidCactus.com, the largest penny auction website, allows bidders to purchase items of high value (we're talking gift cards, computers, televisions and other electronics) at a deep discount. It's also a competitive shopping experience, so if you've got a competitive streak (like I do), you'll definitely find penny auctions wildly entertaining. How does it work? You start off by buying credits, then place bids on items you want. Each time you bid on the item, one bid is deducted from your account and the price of the item increases - but only by 1 cent!

Sound fun? Head to BidCactus.com and try it out for yourself. After all, can you ever have too many Target gift cards?
